Pickled Shrimps

Ingriedients:

250 grams shrimps (shelled and deveined and heads removed)

3 cloves garlic

2 pieces shallots

2 tablespoons olive oil

 

Procedure:

Sauté in olive oil: garlic and shallots. Cook for about ten minutes in low fire and add in the shrimps. Let it simmer for 7 more minutes. Set aside and let it cool.

Meanwhile, mix in bowl the following ingredients:

2 medium sized shallots sliced thinly

2 pieces bell pepper (julienned)

2 cups salad oil/ olive oil

½ cup vinegar

1 ½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon dry mustard

½ tablespoon ground black pepper

 

Add in the shrimps to this mixture and let it stand overnight. Serve cold.
